Yes. All Apetito formulas are intended to provide complete and balanced nutrition when fed as directed, making them suitable for daily, long-term feeding.
Why is Apetito more affordable than many national brands?
As a factory-direct brand, Apetito avoids many of the costs associated with large national advertising and distribution networks. This allows us to offer quality nutrition at a more accessible price.
How do I choose the right Apetito formula for my dog?
Consider your dog’s age, size, and activity level. Puppies do best on Apetito Chico, active dogs may benefit from Hi-Energy or Athlete, and everyday adult dogs may do well on Basic or Adult formulas. Pet’s Barn staff can also help guide your choice.
Does Apetito have formulas for active or working dogs?
Yes. Apetito Hi-Energy and Apetito Athlete are designed for dogs with higher activity levels that require additional calories and sustained energy.
Can puppies eat Apetito Adult or other formulas?
Puppies should be fed Apetito Chico, which is formulated specifically to support growth and development. Once your puppy reaches adulthood, you can transition to an appropriate adult formula.
Apetito offers five formulas designed for different life stages, sizes, and activity levels, including puppies, adult dogs, bully breeds, and high-energy or athletic dogs.
At closing, you’ll review and sign the final documents, settle any remaining payments, and officially complete the purchase.

Apetito Chico is our puppy formula, created to support healthy growth and development during your dog’s early life stages.
Where can I buy Apetito Pet Foods?
Apetito is sold in-store at Pet’s Barn locations in El Paso and San Antonio, Texas. We do not sell Apetito online at this time.
Can I switch my dog to Apetito right away?
For best results, we recommend a gradual transition over 5–7 days by mixing Apetito with your dog’s current food and slowly increasing the amount.
Are Apetito foods made in the USA?
Yes. All Apetito Pet Foods are manufactured in the United States at our facility in El Paso, Texas.
How much should I feed my dog?
Feeding guidelines are provided on each bag and on the individual product pages. Portions may vary based on your dog’s age, size, and activity level.
